I’ve been blessed with so much business that I have decided to restructure my work schedule at the shop. I am hoping that with this new arrangement I will be able to accomplish more and get your instruments back to you in prime condition more speedily.
Until I get caught up on work, new hours will be:
Tuesday – Wednesday | 10 am – 6 pm
Thursday | closed – except for pickup and drop off
Friday | 10 am – 6 pm | |
Saturday | 10 am – 3 pm | |
Sunday – Monday | closed |
Hi there. Your name was given to me by a friend. My son has a Squier Strat and just bought a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge online. He’s looking to get it installed. I know nothing about guitars, just want to see if it’s possible and if so, if I can run it down for you to look at? Thx!
Hello, Thank you for the message! I have modified a start style guitar for a Floyd Rose setup in the past and it’s usually pretty easy. I’d have to have a look. Should mention that I am pretty busy right now, so I couldn’t actually do the work right away, but if you will need it done sooner than I can I will be able to refer the work to another capable luthier. Thanks! (Let me know when you plan to stop by and I’ll be sure to be here.)
Are you able to give a turn around time for the work? Are you out by days, weeks, months? It would be this week some time if I were to stop. I don’t know who else in the area would be capable for this installation, so a referral would be great if you’re too busy! I’ve been dealing with just the local music stores such as Music Go Round and Schmitt, for maintenance and supplies. Since this is more of a process to do, I asked a friend of mine and he suggested Rosewood!
If you can stop by I can give you a good estimate of time involved, but off the top of my head – I’d probably need it in the shop for three weeks or so.
