Hi Michael..I have a ’67 Guild F-30. It’s a small bodied orchestra and they were light built back then, and it’s in need of some attention. virtually no saddle left, it’s got some belly and the bridge is tilted forward. still 3/32″ low e and 5/64″ high e at the twelfth. May or may not be ready for a neck reset, but you can determine that if you are interested in looking at it. I know Guild has a neck joint that can be harder to work with. I’m up on the range, so if you want to take a look at it, I can give you a call and set a good time. Also, it has already been refinished and has had a couple top cracks repaired.
Hello. Thanks for the message. I would be interested in taking a look. The shop is busy right now, but it would be a good idea to go over it and schedule in a time to begin work, if you choose to go ahead with it. Let me know when you plan to come by, holiday hours are minimal, but will be back full swing after the new year.
I will be here today until 6 pm. It will be good to show you where it’s waiting, as the next step is a challenge and I want to be sure that when I begin, it will be a success.

I plan to be in Duluth today and hope to stop in and see how the mandolin is progressing.
