My repair and restoration workload has become so large that a sizable backlog has spurred me into rearranging my work schedule. Beginning in January of 2017 I will be trying out new shop hours. I am decreasing the amount of hours in a week that the shop is open to the public so I can devote more uninterrupted time to getting repairs finished and back to my clients.
This is really good news for me, as my shop has become known for doing quality repairs. However, I’ve also gotten a reputation for taking a while to get to instruments. Short of cloning myself to double time the workload, reprioritizing my work hours to tend to the needs of the business is my best option.
Don’t fret, though! I still want to sell you guitars, banjos, strings, and all the other things you’ve come to expect Rosewood to stock. I’ll just ask you to keep an eye on my open hours while I make adjustments throughout January to set the new schedule for the coming year.
Thank you for all the business! It’s really honoring.
Here are the tentative hours. I’ll set them officially as we ring in 2017!
