Many years ago, before we all had a cellphone in our pocket all the time, I was at work on a sunny, winter morning. I looked through my glass door, down the hall and said to myself, “Holy shit! I think that’s Willie Nelson.” And it was. He waltzed in and ended up spending an hour in my shop playing guitar and talking. When he left, he had bought a 1930’s Martin guitar from me (which I gave him a deal on), and he dropped these picks into my little pick basket on the table. I’ll never forget that day or the kindness of that man. #willienelson
